Mumbai: The average rainfall recorded by Mumbai is 229.6 mm. Mumbai city 170.6 mm Western suburbs 56.3 mm Eastern suburbs 59.34 mm. Mumbai is expecting more heavy rains for next 2 days. Landslide has been reported at Dockyard Road, Mazgaon Garden. Waterlogging issues have been faced by South Mumbai, Hind Mata Chowpatty, JJ Hospital, Dadar, Islam Gymkhana, Juma Masjid and many other areas. At JJ Hospital due to heavy rains waterlogging issue has been raised up and all the patients are being shifted to a safe place and taken care off. Mumbai’s well known Jaslok Hospital’s Portion has been collapsed due to heavy rains but the great news is that no causalities have been reported.

Haji Ali Dargha, Marine Drive, Girgaon Chowpatty, Bandstand are having high tide alert. Citizens are requested not to visit any such areas as there is high risk.
