Mumbai: Shiv Sena Corporator, Arundhati Ward No. 215, Tardeo, says Migrants were supposed to help Mumbai in the time of Covid-19 Pandemic.

Ward no. 215, Tardeo, while speaking to Hello Mumbai News Reporter Juhi Jadhav affirmed that the migrants were supposed to help Mumbai during this Covid-19 pandemic rather than running home. At times when they needed help Mumbai has always been helpful.
She said that as per instructions by Honb’le Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, she procured a list of the outstation migrants and also helped them but again the family is important. So they had to leave to their native places.Instead they should have stayed here and helped Mumbai.

Further, Arundhati Arvind organized a Sanitizer machine and foot the bill for it. She said that during this lockdown she distributed food grains to the people and also arranged free medical camps for the people. Even the BMC workers were involved in this camp for their checkup. Helping her ward for corona free, she helps the officials at any cost and also makes the people aware about the pandemic.

The distribution and camps were organized under full protection and also by following every norms of social distancing.

She further made it known that earlier the Private hospitals were not ready to admit the corona patients but, after discussing with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on a video conference he solved this problem. Now also the private hospitals are open for corona positive patients. She says she is satisfied with the workers as they are working day and night to bring the situation under control and on one phone call they make themselves available for help be it in midnight.

Arundathi further said four more More floors are being added to Kasturbha Hospital on urgent basis as the patients are increasing as the area provided is insufficient for them. Initiative are being taken by Arundhati Arvind to make more space and beds available. In her ward till date out of 470 patients 145 patients were treated and also discharged.

Around this situation she said that’ “Our country had faced many problems earlier, and so we will also fight against this virus and we will win. People have to only stay home and support the officials working.
