Mumbai: Mumbai Shiv Sena Shiv Vahtuk Sena Vice-President Sajid K.Supariwala slams AIMIM Spokesperson Adv Waris Pathan for his communal statement

AIMIM Spokesperson Waris Pathan’s communal statement in Karnataka’s Gulbarga has sparked controversy and rocked Karnataka.
A video surfaced on Thursday showing the AIMIM National Spokesperson Waris Pathan threatening ’15 crore (Muslims) will be tough on 100 crores’.

While addressing a rally on Gulbarga, the former Byculla MLA while addressing a rally in Karnataka’s Gulbarga said that one must snatch ‘Azadi’ if not given.

This controversial statement had not gone down well with Sajid K Supariwala Maharashtra Vice President Shivsena Shiv Vahtuk Sena. Lashing out at Waris Pathan, he said ” It is not only an utterly statement, but very shameful and disgusting coming from the mouth of Waris Pathan. It is also in extremely bad taste.”

Sajid Supariwala further added” I think you Mr.Waris Pathan have lost your mental balance. After losing in the elections the local people rejected you (notwithstanding the fact also that you haven’t done any good work as MLA of Byculla constituency). You have been so shell shocked by it that you have started mouthing venom by making such polarising statements
However, I feel that you seem to be unaware how close all the communities are with each other ?

The protests where all the communities united for rejecting CAA & NRC proved that we all are one and are not going to be against each other. You are trying to divide us with your hate speeches! It’s about time you realise it and accept reality or you will totally go mental!,Supariwala concluded.

Or is it that you are the B team of BJP, RSS and that you have been entrusted with the job of spreading hatred and divide communities and or divert our mind from CAA, NRC????” Asked Supariwala.

In conclusion Supariwala said
“We the Shiv Sena Vahtuk Sena strongly condemn whatever statement you made recently which we presume is merely to garner some cheap publicity! ” I as a Muslim Shivsainik again condemn your statement as you are not an authority of Muslim. Leave apart the 15 crore. You just speak about yourself and not on behalf of any other Muslim or any community!”
