At the hi-profile Travel EXPO OTM EXPO at NESCO, Goregaon, on Wednesday, the concluding day of the EXPO, the Jammu & Kashmir Tours & Travels who also participated turned out to be the main attraction.

Mumbai based TV Journalist Preeti Sompura visited the Jammu & Kashmir Stall and interacted with the J&K Tourism officers and Travel agents.

During the interaction, Nasir Shah, Chairman, PILTOF said, “that Kashmir is a safe haven and I appeal to all to visit Kashmir. Its culture is your national integrity. Saying Kashmir is not safe is just a phobia. Its a safe valley. Kashmir is known as Paradise On Earth. It has the most beautiful meadows and picturesque landscapes. It offers a lot to tourists. Kashmir is a must visit valley for its scenic beauty.

Akhtar Yameen, General Secretary, TASK, “exclaimed that Kashmir is a wonderful valley and a tourist attraction and it is a must visit place. I appeal to all media please do a positive story which is based on fact and truth, create an awareness among the tourists and clear the misunderstanding that Kashmir is not safe.”

Mohd. Shaikh Sultan, chairman of JUST Tour & Travels also appeal that one must take interest in Kashmir Tourism and said that media plays an very important role in promotion of Kashmir, Tourism is a integral part of our culture.

Preeti Sompura Senior TV Journalist said, “I have very good experience in interacting with Jammu and Kashmir travel agents and representative of tourism department. No doubt Jammu and Kashmir is heaven destination for us we should support and promote Jammu and Kashmir Tourism.
