MUSLIM STUDENT MADE ARRANGEMENT FOR THE LAL-BUG CHA RAJA

In a unique example of Hindu Muslim unity the Muslim students from Mahahrashtra college, Akber Peerbhoy college and various other educational institute from Nagpada and adjoining Muslim dominated area today offered there voluntary services to maintain the traffic management at Nagpada Junction. These student mainly girls wearing BURKHA & DUPATTA were seen helping the traffic police officials to maintain the smooth traffic, during the departure procession of Lord Ganesh, Lal-Bug cha Raja from Muslim Dominated Area of South Mumbai
These student were also seen for helping the Nagpada Police officials to maintain the law and order situation in the area
Since afternoon the students were on the road wearing the saffron color T-shirt, were engaged for helping the police.
A prominate NGO from South Mumbai namely Educational Welfare Foundation which is known for its great social services had invited the students for lunch and dinner at P.T. MANE Garden at Nagpada Junction.
On the occasion the office berrars of the NGO Mr Shabaz Siddiuq (Vice President), Taj Mohammed Ameer, Mr Saeed and others has also felicitate these student and also 1st lady Senior Inspector of Police, Nagpada Police Station Shalini Sharma. The food packets were distrubted at the hands of women Police officer Shalini Sharma who appreciated the services render by these student.
Vice President of the NGO Shahbaz Siddique said that 1st time in the history of Nagpada police station a women police officer has been given responsibility of heading the Nagpada Police station.
Mr. Siddique said that we are glad to see her in action taking members of both the community for the Peace full departure of the procession of Lal-Bug cha Raja from Muslim dominated areas Like Clear Road, Nagpada Junction, Duncan Road and etc.
