The brutal rape case of woman in Saki Naka, Andheri East has sent cold shivers down the spine of people and has caused grave concern to the State as well the Nation.

Addressing the media personnel at CP office Hemant Nagrale Commissioner of Police made it known explicitly that,” we have arrested all accused in the gruesome incident and we have also applied SC Act against the accused in this case since the because Victim belonged to particular community. We have appointed Special Prosecuter Raaja Thakoor who will fight this case in the Court .

Hemant Nagrale further added ,we will file chargesheet within a month as all the accused have been arrested and evidence recorded on the whole incident. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has also expressed his gesture of appreciation towards Mumbai Police for their work in this case.

The crime bore similarity to the 2012 ‘Nirbhaya’ gang-rape case of Delhi.
