Mumbai Police has banned AIMIM Chief
from holding a rally at BKC on 27th November
He was not granted permission in wake of COVID-19 restrictions not to hold public gatherings at MMRDA ground and recent violence in some districts of the state.
Mumbai Police on Tuesday did not grant permission to All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi to hold a rally in Mumbai, Maharashtra on November 27.
According to Mumbai Police, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi was not granted permission has to hold a rally at BKC on November 27 in wake of COVID-19, ban on public gatherings at MMRDA ground and recent violence in some districts of the state.
Infact, AIMIM planned to hold a mega gathering at the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) ground BKC on November 27 and the gathering was to be addressed by Owaisi, his brother and MLA Akbar Owaisi, MP and Maharashtra President Imtiaz Jaleel.
Reportedly, on November 23, after the Centre’s decision to repeal the three farm laws, Owaisi had asked the Centre to withdraw the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) saying that his party will hold a protest.
if the three farm laws are not repealed.
