Mumbai: In the wake of heavy spike in cases of Covid-19 pandemic, DCP (Operations) of Mumbai Police on Wednesday has imposed Section 144 of CrPC in Mumbai city upto September 30

The order has been issued as per guidelines of the state government on August 31 regarding easing of restrictions in a seven-phased opening of lockdown.
As per DCP PRO, no new restrictions have been imposed by Mumbai Police.

Mumbai Police clarified that the fresh restrictions are part of a routine order that police issues every 15 days. There will be no change in the unlock guidelines. Unlocking can go on as per the Maharashtra government’s order dated August 31 till September 30.
