Mumbai: National Alliance calls for MahaMorcha to protest against CAA, NRC, NPR at Azad Maidan on 15th February
Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh has emerged as a symbol for the anti-CAA, NRC and NPR. With no solution in sight to the unending protests across the country, now yet another big protest termed as MahaMorcha has been called by the National Alliance, NGOs, and the minority community people against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) in Mumbai Azad Maidan on 15th February to press their demands.
The organisation has urged the three-party Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government to support the Maha Morcha.
The leaders and workers from Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena – MVA government, are likely to participate in the MahaMorcha. join the protest organised by the National Alliance is an umbrella organisation which has the support of several outfits and NGOs.
As per the Alliance Members, the agitation will be peaceful and will be carried out democratically at Azad Maidan.
Notably, the women have taken a lead to protest against the citizenship law and their participation in protests have been in large numbers.

Mumbai Bollywood Celebrities Nandita Das, Javed Jaffrey, Sushant Singh and Gujarat Rights Activist Teesta Setalvad are to participate in the MahaMorcha called by the National Alliance Azad Maidan to protest against NRC, CAA and NPR on 15 february.
