Through Rotary district 3141 they have distributed more than 9500 ration kits in Mumbai through
their various Clubs. They run a community kitchen in Ghatkopar in Association with Rotary Club
of Bombay and Rotary Club of Mumbai Versova. They distribute 1500 hot meal packets every
day twice, each day for lunch and dinner to needy and deprived people. For 20 days they have
served more than 1.20 lakhs such packets of hot food twice a day in slum areas of Ghatkopar and

They also have distributed PPE kits and masks to Kasturba Hospital, St. George Hospital and Nair

Mr. Zaveri shared his personal views on covid crisis, he said that besides health hazards, covid has
drained economy and it would take at least few months to return to normal life.
He is satisfied with government Agencies on their performance. Compared to more developed
countries we have been able to control situation so as to lose less human lives. As a club they are
continuing with their work in a humble way in all forms and by helping the hungry people to get
food packets as long as possible through their project.
The message he needs to give to people is to honor government guidelines and to be safe and to take care of self and family.
