Mumbai Service Tax Zone organized a “Cleanliness Drive” to clean the Juhu Beach as part of the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”

    “A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019,” said Shri Narendra Modi as he launched the Swachh Bharat Mission. Abiding by the PM of the country Mumbai Service Tax Zone successfully conducted & participated in the national initiative Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, through conducting cleanliness drive at Juhu beach in Mumbai on 7/01/2017. The event saw the presence of Chief Commissioner of Service Tax, Mumbai Zone, Mr. Piyusha Patnaik IRS accompanied by his team of Service Tax commissioner Mr. S. R. Prasad IRS , Additional Commissioner Service Tax 6 Mumbai, Ms Manpreet Arya IRS, Additional Commissioner Mr. Prashant Kumar IRS, Mr.B.G.Khole IRS and other colleagues Mr. Piyusha Patnaik, IRS says “India is our country and as her citizens, the least we can do is care for her in our own little ways. Collectively, the impact it will have on the country will be massive. Simple things like avoiding littering and embracing cleanliness as civic sense will go a long way in creating a positive change. In this regard, I appreciate every employees’ effort today and congratulate them on such a great accomplishment”.
