Mumbai: South Mumbai’s Mohammed Ali Road, Bhendi Bazaar and Minara Masjid projects a deserted look during lockdown with everything closed

Mumbai: Festivals are an integral part of any culture. The food that accompanies them introduces an inimitable flavour.

But Ramzan is celebrated across the globe as a month of fasting followed by a rewarding feast as local cuisine becomes a way to bring people together.

Mohammed Ali Road, Bhendi Bazaar and Minara Masjid emblazes every night during Ramzan.

These places are famous for its Ramzan special food with people from across mumbai visit these 8 places and enjoy the Ramzan Pakwaan , like Malpova, Firni , Nali Nihari and many mouthwatering food .

But this lockdown has shot down everything

Hello Mumbai News South Mumbai correspondent, Imran Mulla, got some exclusive pictures of Minara Masjid, Bhendi Bazaar and Dongri. Seeing is believing. It is beyond belief to visualise they are the pictures of Ramzan.

Imran Mulla who is a resident of South Mumbai since childhood shared his views with us, ” I have never witnessed such a kind of situation ever since my birth.

Its an absolute and complete lockdown during this Ramzaan. People are much tensed , and in no mood to talk about it.

During the month of Ramzan, Mohammed Ali Road, Bhendi Bazar and the Minara Masjid areas are much difficult places to traverse.

But today, it is a sad plight to see the totally blank roads devoid of food stalls which caters mouthwatering foods and above all the Ramzan shopping.

All the famous mosques like Minara Masjid, Zakaria Masjid Jama Masjid projects a deserted look with prayers to be done at home.

Its our sincere prayers during this Ramzan to Almighty God to save our country and make it Covid-19 free.
