He is the Chairman of Delhi Sikh Community Gurudwara Management Committee(Transport Cell), Patron, (Rajniti Ki Pathshala), Administrator of Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic, President of Bharatiya Samaj Sewak Sang,Delhi

President of Bharatiya Samaj Sewak Sang, Delhi and also the Chairman of All India Motor Transport Congress.

He projected his selfless dedication for the society and the welfare of the public amid the Corona Virus Pandemic.

Speaking to Hello Mumbai News reporter Anisha Nandan, he says
“our society which truly believes in the Sikhism religion tells us to help towards the welfare of the people.

He ventured into charity work with the help of the people he knew, his friends, and his relatives. But he also mentioned the fact, that according to him, he also got support from his ‘Waheguru’ and the teachings he derived from his religion (Sikhism).

Amid this pandemic, a multitude of populace, suffering from shortage of food, clothes etc. were helped by Mr. Tarlochan Singh Dhillon and his team workers in feeding the unprivileged with “Langar” and through donation of clothes etc.

He made it known that there are several hospitals in Delhi in need of blood donation,and moreover, hospitals were not getting clients for blood donation. There are many people in need of blood regularly. He and his co workers through his charity helped many hospitals in Delhi by launching Blood Donation camp in the month of April in D.D.U. Hospital, Hari Nagar, Delhi. He requested all the NGOs in West Delhi to come together with the slogan- “Let’s share blood for life. Spare your 15 minutes. Save 3 lives”. They also provided ambulance and helped in everything that they could do.

Mr. Tarlochan also mentioned during the course of the interview that he feels immensely happy to share his thoughts on his charity work on this platform because there are many people out there who aren’t aware about them and their work for the welfare of people and to share his experience to the people who are still unaware of their social duties.

“Helping people is not valued by the number of people you help”, said Mr. Tarlochan Singh Dhillon. Mr. Tarlochan Ji and his charity co-workers held numerous “Langars” amid this Pandemic. The food for langar was prepared in Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic college and was supplied to more than thousands of people daily.

More than 10 lakh ROTIS were prepared every day. Many School buses were converted into ambulance by them. According to him there were hardly any Gurudwara which was not involved in public welfare by supplying food during this period of time but also helped during the outbreak of flood in Nepal and Jammu. They even did charity work by feeding the needy in large numbers in the form of Langar outside India like Syria, America and even in some European countries and were appreciated by their government.

The phrase “SABKO EK JAISA SAMJHO, MANAS KI JAAT SABHE EK PEHECHANBO” – by Sikh Guru, helped Mr. Dhillon a lot in his work and instilled courage in him.. Even his family members didn’t stop him from helping people during this pandemic. He garnered lot of support from his family as well.

This pandemic has triggered huge loss across the country but according to Mr. Dhillon the situation is quite stable in Delhi.

He mentions that the C.M. of Delhi, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal is a good administrator. He changed and advanced Delhi to a great extent.By virtue of the work of the C.M. of Delhi, and his team, Delhi is stable and a safe place. Even in this pandemic he is making a lot of effort for his public. He added that Mr. Kejriwal could set a good example in the field of politics as now women are safer in Delhi than before and even the cost of electricity is low in Delhi. Moreover many receivel free ration in Delhi.
