    N. S. Beauty Academy organises Beautywood Exhibition to promote Make-up Artists on International Women’s Day

    After the Covid-19 pandemic induced lockdown, Mumbai bounced back to normalcy and witnessed a glamourous and power- packed event related to the Beauty Industry that was organised by N.S. Beauty Academy in the Western Suburb of Mumbai, Kandivli.

    The Beautywood Exhibition-cum Seminar was organised on the eve of the International Women’s Day. More than 1000 Women from the Beauty Industry and Make up Artists from across India participated in this two day glittering and glamorous Beauty Event.

    Hello Mumbai News got the opportunity to catch up with Sameer Qureshi, one of the partners of N.S.Beauty Acedamy  who in a conversation made it known that following the unlock of the pandemic lockdown, this was the first of its kind Beauty Event organised. The response was extremely good. The Make-up artists from Gujarat, Nagpur, Delhi and other parts of the country took part in the dazzling event and gave live session and workshops. Continuing, he said, the Veteran Make-up artists were honoured for their outstanding and exemplar performance in the Beauty industry .

    Notably, Celebrities from Bollywood and Television also attended this event to inspire and to support our Make-up artists. He further added that their prime motive behind this event was to promote aspiring Women Make-up Artists and cluster them under one umbrella.

    Nisha Padhariya one of the Partners of N.S. Beauty Academy said, ” Our Industry was severely affected due to this pandemic and none supported us to instill confidence and to support our Make-up artists through this event.

    The registration for the event was FREE and we garnered tremendous response. During this event many Owners of Beauty Products displayed their stall and showcased the products. Famous and senior Make-up artists gave live session and workshop in this two days event.

    We Take this opportunity to appeal to the Government to support us and give industry status to the Beauty Industry .This industry has great potential and we generate huge revenue and employment. Amid this pandemic many make up artists committed sucide and number of parlours were shut down in the wake of financial crisis.
