Naata Foundation carried out Bamboo Seeds Plantation around the Aarey Police Station vicinity and by the roads in the forest. They hope to replace the wild shrubs with bamboo trees to not only beautify the area but also to use for selling purposes by the locals.

Notably, Rtn Rajesh Choudhary and Aarey Police Station head Mrs Nutan Pawaar actively participated in this drive.

Mumbai NAATA Foundation have been working in Goregaon, Mumbai for over a decade with a focus on education and vocational education for the below poverty level population.

NAATA Foundation, right from day one of the Covid 19 induced lockdown, have provided more then 6 lakh packets of cooked meals for daily wage workers and homeless people who are jobless due to the pandemic situation as well as in Aarey clusters for tribal families.

They have also supported below poverty level families with dry ration with the help of friends and families.

Life is often unfair. And we all have stories that bear testimony to the fact. But it’s even more unfair to those who have no one to confide in, tell their stories to, or cry to.

Yes, life is unfair to those who are alone or rather – have been left alone by their family and fate.

Thanks to Anuja Saha, the Founder of the NAATA Foundation.

NAATA works to uplift adivasi tribals in Aarey. Its core goals are educating children and empowering women.

In her landmark accomplishment, Anuja got installed Solar Lamps outside every house in the village. For the first time in 100 years, the villagers could walk out of their homes after sunset.
Even amid the Covid-19 induced lockdown, Naata Foundation has executed yeomen service to the poor and needy.

They have also supported below poverty level families with dry ration with the help of friends and families.

It is a matter of pride that the Naata family is still continuing with the distribution of cooked food to Asisi Bhavan (where 120 inmates stay), homeless people under the bridges of Western Express Highway, tribal clusters of Aarey colony, Pathanwadi and many other places in Mumbai as required.
