Holi is a festival of colors and a celebratiòn of the vìctory of good over evil the ďestruction of the Demòness Holika. People celebrate the start of Spring Season and spray color powder amidst dancing and singing.


Although a Hindi Festival it is popular among Non-Hindus. Prior to Holi the previous night light a bonfire knòwn as Holika Dahan to destroy the evil spirit

” Today it was a great celebration of Holi with Transgender community members,
The feeling of playing Holi and shareing their feelings was a great experience…we group of NGO planning to be associated with them and see how we together can make them independent .” said Anuja Saha Founder of Naata Foundation .


While speaking with Hello Mumbai News Anuja Saha said,   Many times these communities are not treated as they should be treated in society .
Theirs requirements are very less, all that they need is a acceptability in the society as they are but sad things that they’re treated badly with no respect and dignity which they don’t deserve .We distributed Saree and other item among them on this special Occasion  .


“We as a group of NGO trying to give them equal jobs opportunities and help them live an independent life.”
A part from Naata Foundation Team JVA Team ,Rotary Club people Rtn Kala Rtn Madhvi  JVA Team leader Ms Nidhi Chaturvedi. Rtn Tanu Jain & Rtn Dr Kruti also supported to this charity project.

Other volunteers  and social activists Dipika, Jayesh , kalpesh, Surekha and Sandeep Gadve  also participated in this charity event.
