Nagpada Police Raids at Samudra Restaurant and Bar, Mumbai Central, bar dancers rescued and 2 arrested


Nagpada Police on Wednesday night raided Samudra Dance Bar at Mumbai Central This raid was conducted on the basis of the specific information by informer. Reportedly, the Police arrested the Manager and Cashier of the Bar and rescued few girls who were involved in this Illegal Act. As per the police they suspected illegal practices in the Bar. Police booked all accused under the newly enacted Maharashtra Prohibition of Obscene Dance in Hotels, Bar Rooms and Protection of Dignity of Women Act, 2016.

While speaking with Hello Mumbai News over phone, Senior Police Inspector of Nagpada Police Station confirmed this news and said, “Our investigation is underway.”

Moreover in accordance to the rules of Mumbai Police, Bar Dancers openly dance in the bar, and every day the Bar sees hundreds of people visiting and splurging lakhs of rupees on these Bar Dancers.

It is a very old and known bar in Mumbai Central, which always comes in news for violation the norms of Mumbai Police. this dance bar always seems to violate rules and regulations. It doesn’t have a good reputation in bar and hotel industry.
