NCP Municipal Councillor Harun Khan’s recent Meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and MP Kirit Somaiya sparked the political controversy and meeting pictures viral on social media with the Massege Harun Khan Joined BJP, but this news is not correct. Hello Mumbai tried to find out the truth, speaking with ‘HELLO MUMBAI’ Mr khan confirmed the meeting and clarified” My meeting was on the issue of development of the local area, Bjp is not new for me I started my political career with Bjp, I have been active leader of the party since 1994 to 2000, I have worked with Late Pramod Mahajan ji also so now the party offered me to join again, I have not decided yet will discuss with our community leaders then will take a decision” Said Harun Khan.

He joined NCP in 2000 and won the Municipal Councillor election 3 times from the ward no 1 24 . He has contested Assembly Election in 2014 from the Ghatkopar Constinency ,But lost he fought this election under the banner of NCP. He has been Standing Committe Chairman Twice from the Eastern Suburb. Currently he is Councilor from the ward No 124 . He is senior leader in the Ncp party and a Mass appeal Leader in the Central suburb. If he join BJP it will be a major setback for NCP and party will lose the Big Minority face in Central suburb.
