NCP rally against demonetisation at Bandra

The National Congress Party on Monday staged a rally at suburban collector office Bandra east against the Centre’s decision of demonetisation on November 8. Although in this rally nothing new only common issues which were already raised by congress.  NCP workers and leaders raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying ‘Modi teri hitler shahi nahi chalegi, Modi hosh me aaho.’
The protest was led by party state unit president Sunil Tatkare,Nawab Malik,Viddya Tai Chavan,Dinkar Tawde,Minority district president Momin Qureshi and other senior leaders city unit president Sachin Ahir .Addressing the rally near collector’s office, Mr Tatkare said, ”Mr Modi had sought 50 days’ time to ease the situation arising out of demonetisation which is over but people continue to suffer. The impact has been all over with no immediate signs to improve the situation in near future.
”So, we have decided to take up the issue through an agitation across the state from today. The agitation would be held at taluka level across the state.”  After the rally, a representation was given to the collector by Mr Sachin Ahir and others.
Such protest were seen across Maharashtra’s other districts like Kolhapur,Sholahpur,Nasik,Pune,Thane,Jalgaon,Aurangabad,Beed ,Latur ,Sangli,Ahmad Nagar,Raigadh and other parts of the state.
