More than 200 Educators gathered to explore the new trends and techniques in education post the pandemic at the Global Creative Summit 2023 :
Reimagining Education 2.0 initiated by Parisar Asha in association with PUSMA.
More than 200 educators gathered together in a global symposium initiated by Parisar Asha, a 40-year-old not for profit organization working in the field of education in association with Private Un-aided School Management Association (PUSMA); to explore the importance of reinventing the education system post pandemic. While the nation is still recovering from the ravages of the pandemic outbreak and the education sector being the worst hit, the summit focused on the new learning strategies, teaching techniques and the fair practices in the field of education post pandemic. Dr. Pawan Sudhir, Professor & Head, Department of Education in Arts & Aesthetics, NCERT, Delhi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Stalwarts like Dr. Samir Dalwai, Founder – Director of New Horizons Child Development Centre; Dr. Seema Negi- Director & Principal of Sanjeevani World School; Ms. Rumana Godal- Headmistress of Vile Parle East Mumbai Public School; Mr. Rohan Bhat- Chairman of Children’s Academy Group of Institutions and Dr. Mihir Parekh – Psychologist and Parenting Author joined the summit for stimulating panel discussions and interactions with academic heads from private aided, un-aided and govt. schools.
On this occasion, Ms. Aarati Savur, CEO of Parisar Asha reiterated that, “Our efforts have always been to bring about new trends in the education system. The pandemic has taught us that life can come to a standstill and we need to be prepared for such eventualities. Parisar Asha has also brought about numerous changes which enabled the teachers and school fraternity to continue providing education during the lockdown smoothly and the transition to get back to the new normal after the schools reopened was organic.”
Ms. Archana Rodrigues, President of PUSMA added that, “Reimagining education in the post pandemic scenario is crucial to the realization of a gen z who would not only be conscious about globally relevant skills, but also about environment conservation, sustaining resources for the future, while being empathic and caring towards others. The future of education depends on the informed decisions we take today and our ability to put into practice all that we envisage for the realization of the NEP goals.”
Dr. Pawan Sudhir, Professor & Head, Department of Education in Arts and Aesthetics , NCERT, New Delhi said on this occasion that , “ Before a child talks, they sing. Before they write, they draw and as soon as they stand, they dance. NEP is emphasizing on this and trying to bring back the joy of education and bring back the heritage in the mainstream curriculum.
Parisar Asha’s initiative in association with PUSMA, “Reimagining Education 2.0”, Global Summit 2023 was attended by educators from all over the education sector across the nation. On this occasion, Parisar Asha also launched it free e-magazine, Lighthouse. It is a special initiative of Parisar Asha for children where it will showcase children’s creativity in form of drawings, paintings, stories, essays, poems and many more. The foreword of this debut initiative have been written by Shri Deepak Kesarkarji, Hon’ble Education Minister of Maharashtra.
This unique summit culminated in high spirits with the prize distribution ceremony of the Gloria de Souza International Excellence Award-Best Educator 2022, in which all the winners were recognized by Dr. Pawan Sudhir.
