For the wholesale markets, this year, the sale of flag was like a boon to them.

Indian postal department also sold the national flag online for easy procurement, and claimed it has “received a very good response”.

Several corporate houses too celebrated and promoted the campaign.

As a matter of pride, the aim for the campaign was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and promote awareness about the Indian national flag.

The prime minister had given a call on July 22 to strengthen the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement by hoisting or displaying the national flag at homes.

The Prime Minister also asked everyone to share their photos with the Tiranga on harghartiranga.com.

Remarkably, more than 20 crore national flags were made available to people till Friday last week.
