Doctor’s profession is sacred. Apart God if there is someone who can save mankind from suffering and sickness and can give life, it is the Doctor. A Doctor Is Worshipped as next to God.
But sadly there are doctors who in a bid to make fast and easy money make fake degree certificates and run clinics.

A recent case that comes to light is of a 44 year old Doctor Pravotkumar Boman Adhikari (44), who runs a clinic at Bangur Nagar, Goregaon West.in the name as Adhikari Clinic (B.A.M.S, P.G.D.E.M.S).

Acting on a tip off the officials of Crime Branch Unit 10 visited the Clinic and arrested the bogus doctor who operated his clinic at Bangur Nagar in Goregaon (W) under relevant Sections
of the Indian Penal Code and Medical Practitioner’s Act for cheating and forgery.
The fake doctor was in possession of fake medical certificates and equipment in his clinic.

As per further probe,. Adhikari had not registered his clinic or practiced with any medical council board in Maharashtra He was subsequently arrested. And booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Medical Practitioner’s Act for cheating and forgery. The police also seized fake degrees, medicines, and medical equipment from the clinic. While a probe is underway, the doctor has been remanded in custody.
