After post violence of Bhima Koregaon attack incident Mumbai police don’t want to take any kind of risk. Police have cancelled the function of All India Students summit which was going to be held today at Bhai das hall, Juhu.

 
The main reason behind this cancellation is that the controversial student leader Khaleed Umar and MLA from Gujarat Jignesh Mevani were the speakers of this summit.
The supporters anger and started protest against the Juhu police station protesters blamed on police government trying to muzzle our voice.

Juhu police also served 149 notice and cancelled the permission of the Summit. Police also detained the organiser, Kapil Patil (MLC, ) , Sachin Bansode, Sagar Bhalerao, and Datta Daghe. After denying the permission of the event by juhu police massive protest by Mevani supporters still going on.

“It’s a student function there was no politics in this function, it’s a violation of freedom of speech by police, matter of demand was student’s issue Government is performing not well. Our agenda is different our protest will be continue” Said Kapil Patil the organiser of the event. “It’s unconstitutional and curbing the democracy we did nothing wrong Jignesh Mevani and Khalid Umar were our speaker, why government is scared from the students”, Said one of protesters at Juhu police station. We have prepared this event two months ago and police have cancelled the event before five minutes.it was student’s meet not public meet says one of the protester.
