The Rath Yatra, which began on June 20 in Government Colony of Dev Nagar, Karol Bagh, concluded on June 28 with Bahuda Yatra. Chief officials of the Rath Yatra Committee, Anil Patnaik, Prasanna Kumar Nanda and BR Mishra told that Jagannath along with his sister Subhadra and his elder brother Baldau go to their aunt’s house on the second day of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month, after that on the Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month. On the Dashami of Paksha, lord Jagannath returned to his Shridham from his aunt’s house. This tradition is called Bahuda Yatra. Shravan Kumar ji Pradeep ji and PK Sarangi ji, other office bearers of Rath Yatra Samiti Dev Nagar, told that during this great festival many traditions are observed regarding Mother Lakshmi . When Maa Mahalakshmi got angry with Lord Jagannath, she broke the chariot of Lord Jagannath, as observance of of the tradition, Hera Panchami was also organized in Dev Nagar Society.

During the Bahuda Yatra, about two thousand devotees were present in Dev Nagar Society who experienced spiritual bliss by pulling the rope of the chariot and at the same time received the Prasad of Mahaprabhu.
