1.Hemant Karkare, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) led from the front Kasab and Ismail shot him dead outside Cama Hospital.

2. Vijay Salaskar, Encounter specialist, lost his life amid the terror attack.

3. Senior Police Officer, Ashok Kamte too was gunned down outside Cama Hospital

4. Tukaram Omble, Assistant Sub-Inspector shot 40 times single-handedly nabbed Kasab

5. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan
Team commander, 51 Special Action Group, shot dead in Operation Black Tornado.

6.The GM of Taj Hotel, Karambir Singh Kang evacuated guests from the hotel. His own wife and son were shot

7.Nanny Sandra Samuel saved 2-year-old Moshe Holtzberg at Nariman House

8.Mallika Jagad, Taj saved 60 guests
