Notably, Rotary Club is an active and vibrant Club that aids the poor and needy people even in nature’s calamity.
In the 1st Outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic’, Rotary Club ensured.

Its helping hand in distribution .If essential items to the needy and poor.
Amid this Covid-19 2nd Wave pandemic, everyone is going through dilemmas and the Rotary Club are trying to minimise it
Needless to mention Rotary Club have accomplished numerous significant social projects in providing food and many other areas of endeavor.
In the midst of this Pandemic, they are providing benefits to the needy ones.
Even in the 1st Wave of the pandemic Rotary Club have risen to the grim situation and dustributed essential items to the needy and poor.

Rotary Clubs constantly stay along to give support, they truly acknowledge in procuring service to the society above themselves, similarly Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast, District 3141, Charter Date – 4th January 1989. Even in this pandemic crisis, they are putting on their best to curb the difficulties and contribute necessities to needy ones.
The President of this club is Mr. Kishor Masurkar.

Blood Donation Project:- First Project of Vision Year 20-21.Blood Donation Camp at Vile-Parle.It was a joint project with the Youth wing of BJP, with non-other than their Rotarian of the year PP Rtn Hemangbhai Jangla, Pride of Seacoast. The Blood Camp was inaugurated by MLA Parag Alavani, who praised this club for continuously doing many Projects, for the last many years for the betterment of the underprivileged people of Vile-Parle and Andheri.

Project steam inhalers-

Rtn Hemang has gone and personally delivered 200 Electric Steam Inhalers at Old Age Home, at Cheshire home, Holy Cross Hospital, Anthony, and various other places.
10 Pedal sanitizer stands have been Distributed to “health post” and BMC post at vile parle and Andheri ward. Premium Chocolate has been Distributed to 500 children arranged by pp. Hemang jangla from ITC company.

Bagbaan Old Care Project –

A TV set donated by the Club has been delivered at KARUNESHWAR OLD CARE AND HOSPICE at Nere, near Panvel. This Club’s Superman PP Rtn Hemangbhai Jangla has given a Sanitizers Pedestrian Stand at ‘K’westwardd in presence of famous Bollywood Director Rohit Shetty and Marathi actress Prajakta Mali.

Further, Dabbawala children’s education Project:-
Distributed TABS to Dabbawala’s Children and paid school fees for some of them. 3 wheelchairs have been given to needy “Divyang” as they sink to the “Able to Ability” project of DG’s favorite project.

Lite – A – Home – Project:-

The program envisages lighting up of homes of the people who do not have access to electricity. This is a collaboration with Solar on – which is systematically carrying out this project for 100 lights. (Each light cost Rs. 3000/-) in far-off villages of tribals ( Dongarwadi and Dopatiz). They have agreed to 15 lights, which will light 15 homes and will benefit around 45 people. The total cost of the project – Rs. 45000/-(they thank donors Ann Sheela and Rtn. Sunil Devnani for sponsoring 5 lights (Rs. 15000/-) for this project.)*

World Sight Day:-

On this occasion have donated free spectacles to the kids who are having refractive errors at the Eyecare center, Palghar through their Rotaract club of Lotus College of optometry.

Mobile Distribution to Poor Students – MEGA PROJECT:- seven seacoasters personally visited (President Rtn. Kishore Masurkar, Rtn. Virendra Widge, Rtn. Hemang Jangla, Rtn. Sunil Devnani, Rtn. Mahendra Wadhwani, Rtn. Jayant Doshi, Rtn. Ratnesh Desai) Manilal Sunderji Municipal School to handover mobile phones to poor needy students. Appreciated all their large-hearted donors of Seacoast, who had entirely funded this project. And Special thanks to PP Rtn. Virendra Widge for initiating this project.Total beneficiaries – 60 Students, Cost – Rs. 3 Lakh.

Mega Project of donation of vehicle for Special Children School for Adivasi community at Igatpuri:-

on the occasion of World Disability Day they have handed over the Ertiga Suzuki vehicle to the Managing Trustee Smt Shitala Pandit of Punyatma Prabhakar Sharma Trust ( which runs the schools at Igatpuri ). This will be used for special children at Igatpuri school. Along with President Rtn, Kishore Masurkar and Club Secretary Rtn Sapna Priyadarshi, PP Rtn Ashok Mehra, PP Rtn Dr. Soneji, PP Rtn Dr. Ashok Kothari, PP Rtn Hemang Jangla PP Rtn Ratnesh Desai, and Nishant Priyadarshi were present to witness this memorable seacoast event.

Able to Ability Project was launched by DG Sunnil Mehra and MLA Parag Alavani at a function at Vile-Parle (west).
In the first phase, 17 beneficiaries were given Wheelchairs/ walking aid/Crutches.
From Seacoast, Besides Hemang Jangla, Rtn Sapna Priyadarshi, Rtn Hemangbhai Jangla, Ann Purvi, and Rtn Kunal Kapadia, Ann Sonal and Rtn Ratnesh Desai, Rtn Kalpa Desai, Rtn Ram Kotak, and Rtn Kevin Shah were present.

Adding to it Seacoast Mega Able to Ability Project:-In continuation with their ambitious project’ Able to Ability,’ 18 Wheelchairs were distributed to needy and underprivileged Divyang from slum areas around Andheri, Juhu, and Santacruz. Their PP Rtn Hemang Jangla has personally distributed from a van, visiting in different localities.

13 wheelchairs give to the association of parents of mentally retarded children, Mumbai, Thane. They got 20 oxygen concentrates from Singapore and is going to Distribute them to some hospital association.

Along with this, they are Happy to Distribute walking sticks to age-old people who are in need and currently living in the extreme situation at Maratha colony, Santacruz (e) a total of 50 walking sticks have been provided to the needy. They have given one air cooler at the newly opened vaccination center at lallubhai park.

They have also begun the food program “Annadan” at Shivaji Nagar, Deonar, Govandi area for children and old people who are really in need and living in extreme situations going to feed 150 people daily for a whole month.

Here are some of the data about the project which they have achieved and there are varied others besides will invariably strive to assist society.
