Rotary Club of Mumbai Parleshwar (RCMP) organized a Blood Donation Drive on Sunday, 11-Jul-2021 at Sathaye College, Vileparle (East), Mumbai. The drive was held with the help of Nirankari Blood Bank, Vileparle east.
The Blood Donation Drive was inaugurated by Principal of Sathaye College Professor Rajwade. Amidst rain, strict protocol about covid recovery period and post vaccine restriction on blood donation (the nationwide frenzy amongst 18-44 age group to get vaccinated means most are non-eligible for donation right now!) made today’s Blood Donation Drive a real challenge and yet it is a critically essential social activity which was conducted successfully today.
All thanks to the ginormous enthusiasm and efforts from our Director Medical Projects Rtn. Prachi Rane who was ably supported by her children , Atharva and Shreya and spouse Praveen. District seniors like Rtn. Hemant Jangla, Club Seniors PPs Rtn.B.G.Barve, Rtn. P.R.Shaktivel and Rtn.Smita Puranik, along with IPP Rtn.Jyoti Babladi and many other willing volunteers like Rtn. Atul Gokhale, Rtn.Mayuresh Adarkar, Rtn.Sunil Kulkarni, Rtn.Bakul Ganatra, Rtn. Sunita Shetye and spouse Bhavesh Shetye, PE Rtn.Rajesh Shah, Director Membership Rtn.Atul Karkhanis, Rtn. Sandeep Gokhale and others were a huge help and support. We also thank Atharva Rane, Prachi Rane, Shilpa Narayanan, Siddhaya and Kartik Babladi and Swayam Gokhale for being valuable donors.

This Blood Donation Drive is co-hosted along with Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast. Both the clubs are a part of Rotary District 3141.
