Rotary club of Mumbai Western Elite organised a Multi Diagnostic Mega Medical camp at Nesco Goregaon on Sunday, 7th July. This was one of a kind event with a vision of Check-up to Treatment. The grand scale and success of the event was a treat to the eyes and souls. A sea of humanity in the form of beneficiaries, doctors, paramedical staff and volunteers could be seen at the venue.

The main highlight of this medical camp was that it was attended by 3000 thousand people from different parts of Mumbai from Andheri to Borivali including interrior villages and padas. The camp covered alomost all medical faculties one can see at big hospitals.

Vinay Khetawat (Club President) along with senior members Hemant Agrawal, Sunil Adukia, Rajesh Bahl, Sushil Dadhich, Ashok Chaudhary, Pankaj Ladia, Ankit Bagadia, Vikas Goel, Ashutosh Arora, Purshottam Malsisaria, Satish Maheshwari, Alka Aggarwal, Jayhesh Khemka and many more members, spouses were present. The Rotaracts team was led by Prakriti Jajodia and the Interacts by Aaryan Khushwah.

Key Highlight of the Mega Medical Camp :

1. 20000 sq feet of Grand Air conditioned venue
2. 3000 Beneficiaries registered
200+ identified for post treatment
3. 100+ Doctors, Paramedical and Nursing staff
4. 6 District avenues and their teams, along with senior Vibrant district officers
7. 70+ consultation rooms in almost all faculties
8. Loads of medical & other equipment
9. 1500 kgs of medicines, etc, in the camp pharmacy
10. 75+ Members & Spouses attended
11. 40+ Interactors served the whole day
11. 20+ Rotaractors present at all times
12. 150+ Outside volunteers gave dedicated support
13. 25+ security, housekeeping & other staff deployed
14. 20 buses (including that of SRPF) deployed for pick-up and drop
15. 30 laptops, printers, and other equipment for data management
16. 1 Ambulance
17. 1 Huge mobile washroom setup
18. 3 giant hoardings on the roads for PR
19. 10 celebrity bytes that did the trick
20. 300+ banners and stickers for creating awareness
21. 10000+ forms distributed for registrations
22. Exclusive lounge that served delicious meals, tea & coffee to the entire team
++++++++ A lot more kept happening all the time, but we lost track amidst the sea of humanity.

The camp was supported by Lilavati Hospital & Reserach Centre, Bhagwati Ferro Metals (Amit Burakia), NESCO Foods, Laqshya Media, SMC Global, Sai Decor, Rotary clyb of Juhu Ellite and many other doctors from all over Mumbai joined in giving honorary services
