In a new development, Former Mumbai cop Sachin Vaze has been granted bail in money laundering case, but he will remain in jail in other cases.
He had sought bail on the grounds that key accused Anil Deshmukh has got bail from HC and that Vaze himself was never arrested, unlike Deshmukh was.

Sachin had sought bail on the grounds that the Bombay High Court granted bail to key accused former Maharashtra Home Minister, Anil Deshmukh and that he was not arrested, unlike Deshmukh.
Sachin Vaze came into the limelight during Maha Vikas Aghadi government for planting gelatin near Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s house, Antilla.
The session court has given relief to Vaze who has been in custody for several months in the money laundering case. However, as judicial custody has been obtained in other cases, Vaze will continue to be in jail.
