Sakinaka police arrested Samrat Sengupta the Director of Shot format Digital Production Pvt Ltd for allegedly cheating duping IT company (Provide Laptop and Mobile service) Proservz DigiTech pv Ltd in the name of Insurance policy scam of Rs 4O,72000 . Police also booked Niyateey Shah Managing Director of Shotformat Digital Production but she is not arrested so far.
While speaking with Hello Mumbai News over phone Senior Police Inspector of sakinaka Police station Mr. Gabaji Chimte confirmed , ” yes we have lodged an Fir against Niyateey Shah Maning Director of shot format Digital Production we booked her under section 406,420,409 and 34 of IPC. We have arrested accused no Two Samrat Sengupta who is Director of Shotformat Digital Production now he is in Police custody we are inquiring him.Another accused Niyati Shah we haved served notice to her to appear before the investigative Officer but she didn’t responded.our investigation is underway.
As per the FIR copy Mr Ashok yadav (Complainant ) Director of Proservz DigiTech pv Ltd paid RS 4O,72,000 in advance to Shotformat Digital Production for providing insurance services. But Shotformat received the the amount but couldn’t provide any kind of Insurance policy service and even not returned money.After continues reminder via mail Accused didn’t responded to Ashok yadav Shotformat failed to provide Insurance policy service to Proservz DigiTech.After some time the complainant realised Shotformat duped and cheated him in the Name of Insurance policy. so Mr Ashok yadav filed a police complaint at sakinaka police station. Police set up a team to investigate the matter after finding truth and fact police raided at Shotformat office premises Express Tower Malad East detained Niyatee Shah for inquiring and released her giving 141 notice.After Introgation with Niyateey Shah. Police arrested Samrat Sengupta and Andheri Holiday court sent him Police custody till 25 September.
