In the wake of speedy spread of Covid-19 and Omicron Variant in Mumbai BMC Education Department has issued a letter stating that for class 1 to 9 and 11th Schools will remain closed from 4 January till 31st January 2022 till further orders.
However, for Std 10th and 12th Schools will remain open amid follow of Covid-19 Protocols.
But Children between 15 and 18 can be called to the school for vaccination.
Reportedly for Schools which opened in December, orders have been given to shut the Schools.
