At least Shiv sena won the race of Mayor CM Fadnavis with drew the Bjp from the mayoral race and all other Bmc committees. But Cm announced creating the post of Upa lokayukta for Mumbai affairs which will be monitoring body and will keep control over the Mayor .
Although sena welcomed this decision but it will create controversy in future. The Bjp also decided not to hanker for the deputy mayor post. According to the sources bjp feared the sena would withdraw the support from the state government and another reason to surrender before Sena is Bjp wants to contest next Assembly and Loksabha elections with sena support.
