Today is very important day for Muslim women of Mumbai they are going to participate a mass rally against ‘Triple Talaq which is being organised by All India Muslim Personal Law Board ladies wing at Azad Maidan.
Speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai News’ Dr. Asma Zehra head of women’s wing said, “The triple Talaq Bill was purposed without consulting to religious scholars and intellectuals of the community we thus reject the bill as it goes against the constitution of India women right and gender justice and we appeal that it be taken back,”.
Another Member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Ishrat Shabuddin urged at the government’s double standard policy about Minority,” Present Government is playing politics on Muslim Women’s issue they are not serious about our community problems like education, Medical and Unemployment, in today’s rally we are expecting in a lage number of women who will participate in this historic rally I have seen Muslim women are very serious about this unconstitutional bill which makes instant triple Talaq a non bailable cognisable offence, punishment of three years jail, this bill is the first step towards the Bjp’s dream of a uniform civil code, ” she said.
Today’s rally is veryimportant the team which did a very hard work to organise this silent protest among them were, Sumaiyya Nomani, swaleha sohail, Tasneem saleem Motorwala and Zakiha Fareed shaikh. Qamar saeed Ahmed from leading urdu Media House also supported them.
