Panchgani a famous hill station, the most visited tourist place in Maharashtra is now become a part of PM Modi’s Dream Campaign “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” and now Panchgani ranked 5th cleanest city of Maharashtra, it happened because of the hard work, and good efforts of Present, Panchgani Municipal Council, President Mrs Laxmi Karhadakar, a known face and very dedicated women in social service and Pioneer of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign in Panchgani.
Our slogan is “Clean Panchgani Green Panchgani” we are doing this campaign for the last many years we have organised so many awareness programme with the school students in the city, have done social and cultural events on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and got overwhelming response from the local people of the Panchgani and Tourists, Swachhbharat Panchgani is our Mission which will be continued in future also, our Panchgani is the attractions of the international tourists, so we want to improve it more and we will be No 1 Cleanest city of the Maharashtra very soon, Said Mrs Laxmi Karhadakar.
