The Indo Arab Society which is know to organise Social events on various social and economic subjects, recently.

The INDO ARAB SOCIETY arranged a Talk on GST by Adv S S Gupta, Chartered Accountant on Saturday 20/01/2018 at Islam Gymkhana, Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion Adv Gupta emphasized the need to promote GST in the Country as it simplies the taxation policy in the Industry and Service Sector and promote single window system by removing sales tax, profession tax, Central Excise, Octroi and various other levies of Central and State Government. He explained that GST is beneficial for manufacturers, whole sellers, retailers as well as the consumers. The Meeting was well attended by the members of INDO ARAB SOCIETY who are into Trades & Commerce. The meeting was presided by Prin (Dr) Suhail Lokhandwala and conducted by Majeed Shaikh, Hon. General Secretary of INDO ARAB SOCIETY.

This Seminar was attended by all active Managing Committee Members and post holders like Shabbir Rangwala, Shareef Kazi , Shabbir Somji, Nabi Akhtar Qureshi, Ejaz Ali Sayyed, Yusuf Punjabi and advocate Farhana Shah. There was questions answers in tractive session between the speaker and audience on GST which was very short but very informative. After the election it was first kind of seminar by The Indo Arab Society.
