News Report by Kamal Prabhakar from London :

Speaking to Kamal Prabhakar, UK Correspondent of Hello Mumbai News, Kazan, Member, London Assembly exclaimed that amid the new strain of Coronavirus in UK, the last-minute Brexit agreement has turned out to be very thin and far from the assurances given by Boris Johnson when he was a Strident Bus-trotting Advocate amid the 2016 referendum. By no stretch of imagination figmentation or a political spin, does the agreement returns control to UK? . The deal guarantees “zero tariff and zero quota” trade on goods that were worth £668bn in 2019. However, it will also mean on the significant costs to business deals as exporters face stringent border checks from 1st January, 2021. With this, the freedom of movement in the EU will cease for most UK Nationals, with restrictions imposed on stays in EU member states.

Meanwhile, from 1st January, 2021, on the dawn of the New Year, the Brexit agreement will bring massive changes for British business which will face extra paperwork and additional costs when trading with the UK’s biggest export market.

Notably, Freedom of movement for most UK nationals will however cease with restrictions imposed on stays in EU member states. To begin with as the UK will be the “third country” to the EU, coronavirus travel restrictions could be imposed on British Nationals. Trade deals with majority of the trading countries have to be toned up by a weaker UK, which is no longer a part of a large trading bloc.

Labour party has consented to co-operate with the Government on the Brexit agreement. A no-deal exit would mean according to the Office for Budget Responsibility UK ’s economic output by £40bn in 2021 and cost more than 300,000 jobs. It wouldn’t be too long before the nation starts wondering what it has achieved by the Divorce.
