Urdu Journalist Anwar Hussain passes away due to cardiac arrest

The cruel hands of death has snatched away Anwar Hussain a Senior Urdu Journalist and Press Club Member on Wednesday, 11 August 2022. He died of Cardiac Arrest at the Nair Hospital and was undergoing treatment for liver disease.

He was associated with several leading Urdu dailes among them Urdu Times Daily Sahafat Daily Hindustan Daily.

His last rites were performed on Thursday at Narylwadi Kabrstan Mumbai which was attended by large number of people.
He is survived by two wives and a son.

Anwar started his career with Hindustan Daily in the early 80s. He worked with Hindi daily Do Baje Dopahar, Kubair Times, Urdu Times, and Sahafat. Currently, was with Hindustan Daily.

While speaking with Hello Mumbai News over phone Ejaz Ansari Senior Journalist confirmed this news and expressed his demise,
” I am deeply saddned to hear this news. We shared 30 years long association and worked together. We used to meet daily at press club also. He was hard worker, kind hearted and very supportive by nature. Am really very much nervous today”. His passing away is a big blow to me.” RIP ANWAR HUSSAIN.
