United Kingdom’s first-in-the-West authorization of a Covid-19 vaccine thrusts its little-known medicines watchdog into the global spotlight

The vaccine is developed by Pfizer Inc. Germany’s BioNTech SE, setting in motion its rollout in the U.K.

The development marks a remarkable turnaround since there was no antidote to the virus and the most optimistic prediction was a vaccine by the middle of 2021.

While interacting with Hello Mumbai News UK Correspondent Kamal Prabhakar, Vijay Goel, Partner, Singhania & Co.,Founder of Indo-EU Business Forum, Past Chairman of the London Chamber of Commerce Asian Business Association, shared his candid views on UK emerging as first country to approve Covid-19 Vaccine.

Amid the conversation with the Hello Mumbai News UK Correspondent, Vijay made it known that personally he is very much hopeful that the Vaccine launch in U.K will certainly help mankind and economy .

Apparently, it will change the entire sentiments, nevertheless, we need to be extremely cautious and continue to take precautions as pandemic is not over yet .

He added that the launch of the Vaccine in UK is a landmark moment in the fight against the pandemic.
