World AIDS Day is observed every year on 1st December and this year the day flows as Wednesday. With the hope of educating people and paying the tributes to those who lose lives due to deadly disease AIDS. This day bring together all the social organization including schools and colleges to fight against deadly disease AIDS. Various schools and colleges across India observed this Worlds AIDS Day with different things, Virar based Viva College also observed this day in a different way.
On occasion of World AIDS Awareness Day , in collaboration with Health Department, Palghar District, VIVA NSS Unit has organised various competitions like Rangoli making, slogan, drawing etc. Total 45 volunteers were present for this event. The purpose of this event was Spreading the Awareness among the youth regarding HIV Awareness.
Prof Deepa Dalvi, NSS PO has managed this event. Principal and Vice Principal has given their support and guidance.
