Western Railway to òperate outstation trains from Jogeshwari Railway Station for passenger’s convenience



    It comes as good news for those travelling to outstation that they can now board outstation trains from Jogeshwari Railway Station.

    The Western Railway has set up two extra platforms costing Rs70 crore.

    Notably, for the operation of those trains, the two railway platforms and one island platform together with three interchanging railway strains will be in use at Jogeshwari Station.

    Reportedly, the zonal railway has despatched the proposal on operations of the trains to the Ministry of Railways. No sooner accredited, outstation trains will begin operating from Jogeshwari station.

    Aa per Satya Kumar, Divisional Railway Supervisor, Western Railway, earlier, the railways had earlier deliberated to function practically 100 outstation trains in the direction of Gujarat and North India from Jogeshwari
    “We will be reassessing the number of trains for operation from Jogeshwari as we have witnessed a decrease in the demand for the daily operation of outstation trains.”
