Actor Raj Meena To Appear In A comedy Film ‘WTF:What The Fun’
Last year, the family film based director Amit Shree Yadav’s film ‘Kutumb:The Family’ was released in which many actors like Rajpal Yadav, Alok Nayar, Aloknath, Ritu Sharma were seen in the lead roles. From this film, actor Raj Meena had also made his debut in Bollywood. And now this theater actor is filming even more these days.
Raj, who lives in Rajasthan, had a passion for acting since childhood. When he saw serials like Shaktimaan and Alif Laila on Doordarshan at a young age, the passion of acting was awakened in his heart. He used to participate in the college’s cultural activities and drama. When he was only 5 years old, he performed for the first time in school and got his first prize. After 12th, he came to Mumbai and was doing B.Tech from here but his mind was not in studies but in films. So he could not complete his B.Tech studies and started to become an actor. He gave several auditions, faced many rejection, many times disappointed, but he never gave up. Later, In a tele film, he got the opportunity to work with Ranvir Shorey & Vinay Pathak for the first time. Then also worked in some commercial ad.
In MTV’s ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan’, Raj played a negative character named Raghu. He also worked in a Marathi film ‘Short Cut’. Then he got the movie Kutumb through an audition. Rajpal Yadav had been seen as doing cameo in a song in the film. Actor Rajpal himself gave his voice to this song. The music of the film was produced by Aryan Jain. The title track of this movie was sung by Kumar Sanu, while the famous singer Alka Yagnik also gave voice in one of the songs of the film.
And now Raj Meena has got one more project ‘WTF- What the Fun’ directed by Amit Shree Yadav, where he will play one of the lead. This will be a comedy film. It’s about the story of 3 boys aged around 18-20 years, who go out on the wrong path to earn money from by taking short cuts. Shooting of this film will start soon.
