Gujarati NATSAMRAT applauded at the Box-Office by the Audience and Critics.

By Entertainment Desk  Hello Mumbai Team :

Powerful performance by the actors, amazing story line ,great direction and superb music is what we get to experience in the film.

Jayant Gilatar’s Gujarati directorial ‘Natsamrat’, recently released on 30th August 2018 and has already begun winning hearts. The movie is a Jhamu Sugandh presentation produced under the banner of Sugandh films with star cast Siddharth Randeria, Dipika Chikalia, Manoj Joshi, Tasneem Sheikh and other talented actors from Gujarati Industry.

The movie critics has also praised the movie by saying “Coming from a reputed banner as Jhamu Sugandh’s, the production of the movie is flawless and they have ensured to pitch in just the right talent for every section of movie-making. Talking about the direction, it is at a fabulous level altogether. And you more or less expect that from a filmmaker like Jayant Gilatar (Chalk n Duster fame), who lets the story flow in a nearly flawless manner. Music and background score of the movie is wonderfully put up by Alap Desai. In particular, the song ‘Jat Jao’ sung by Alap Desai and Shreya Ghoshal is a soulful melody, while the song ‘Jeevan Aa Toh’ is woven perfectly in the sad scenes, making your eyes misty. Two elements form the soul of this movie–stunning performances by all the actors and powerful dialogues penned by Pravin Solanki and the immensely talented Sneha Desai.”

The Times of India has rated the movie 4.0/5 and Divya Bhaskar has rated the movie 4/5. The audiences have also been in all praise about the movie.

Talking about the performances, it is a treat for the Gujarati theatre audience to spot veteran actors Siddharth Randeria and Manoj Joshi sharing the frames for the first time in their careers. These two veterans lift the movie by several notches every time they have a conversation on the big screen. It is fabulous to see how Siddharth Randeria has shed his super popular image of ‘Gujjubhai’ and gotten into a totally different zone while portraying ‘Natsamrat’. His emotional scenes will sure make your eyes go misty and even make you cry at a few places, which speaks volumes about the kind of power-packed performance Randeria has delivered. Manoj Joshi is so natural, that he makes you forget that his previous Gujarati movie was a comedy. In her comeback to Gujarati cinema after a long gap as Mangla (wife of Natsamrat), Dipika Chikhalia Topiwala is a perfect blend of graceful and powerful personality. Vikram Mehta, Tassneem, Samvedna Suwalka and Vyas Hemang have been just apt in essaying their characters. It is good to spot Hemang Shah in a different avatar yet again after Karsandas Pay & Use, while Smit Pandya brings in some welcome fun elements in an otherwise serious second half.

The member of the Censor Board Committee, Nutan Sagar ,sister of director Chandra Barot (who directed Amitabh Bachchan starring Blockbuster film ‘Don’) is also said to be in all praises for director Jayant Gilatar and the movie team for their fabulous execution ,Making Natsamrat a must watch!

Nutan Sagar, even suggested the budding directors from Gujarati industry to keep a close eye on Jayant Gilatar’s work and try using some of his cinematic skills in order to bring up the Gujarati movie industry.
