It was a double celebration for Kangana Ranaut on Monday. It was her birthday as well as she was declared the Best Actress at the 67th National Film Awards for her mindblowing performances in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Panga.
It was a dual celebration and unique in its way. She penned an inspiring note for all women.
Taking to her Twitter handle she shared some words of wisdom on turning 34. From growing up blissfully naive of gender prejudices to breaking down barriers for women in cinema, Kangana opened up about what all she had to endure being a woman to make a name for herself in the film industry.
Meanwhile, the much talked and raved about trailer of Jayalalithaa’s biopic titled Thalaivi, has hit the silver screen today.
Ahead of the trailer launch of the film, Kangana, who enacts the role of the late actress-turned-politician in the movie, shared a few updates on the film in the form of a teaser of sorts and pictures from her body transformation journey.
