Actor Zakir Khan hosts Thrilling Mehfil-e- Mushaira at Star Bazaar

All roads on Friday led to Star Bazaar, Andheri”s Filmi Hub for an intellectual evening in Mumbai to get enthralled to a Mhefil -e .Mushaira hosted by comedian Actor Zakir Khan Tanha .

The evening’s main highlight was the presence of eminent Urdu Poets from across India. Also present at the glitzy event were Bollywood celebs actress Sargam, Stand up Comedian ,Sunil Paul, Zahid Khan , Gurpreet Kaur Chadda Jewellery designer Ekta Gupta and many others.

Speaking to ‘ Hello Mumbai News ‘ Team, the Organiser of the glittering evening Zakir Khan Tanah said , ” it was an exciting evening that kept the audience glued to their seats with the mind blowing entertainment by the highly intellectual poet who enthralled the audience with their taste 

Urdu Gazal and Urdu Shayri..Zakir added that even the Bollywood celebrities were invited and they enjoyed the event. Infact the evening was blended with mix of Bollywood and poets which made a good combination and an unique program”.

It was an evening to remember and cherish. Zakir very much enjoyed it.
No doubt, Urdu poetry is the backbone of Bollywood which is an important combination. Bollywood is incomplete Minus Urdu Poetry. It was indeed a good initiative by Zakir Bhai who promoted Urdu language and bollywood through this ‘ Mhefil- e Mushaira evening . Actress Sargam showered praises on Zakir for his initiative.”

At the conclusion of the most memorable Mushaira Evening all the important invites were honoured with flower  and shawl .Ekta gupta one of the Trustee of ‘Shaikh Foundation also honoured Actress Sargam. Even Bollywood actress Sana Ali Khan was honoured .

Bollywood’s popular Costume Designer, Producer and Founder Member Of ‘Shaikh Foundation ‘ Ekta Gupta was also honoured along with Mushtaq Shaikh ,Founder ,Shaikh foundation , by Rashid Sheikh at the function.
