Mumbai Hindi Films “Street Dancer 3D” clashes with “Panga”
Mumbai Hindi film release of Street Dancer 3D on Friday 24th January clashed with Panga.
Even on day 2 Street Dancer 3D remains on track and witnesses substantial growth collectionwise which keeps the film in the race.
Panga emerged as the bumper box office hit on the first day itself collection wise. The film has projected a major jump in it’s Saturday collections.
Panga earned ₹2.7 crore on Friday and on Saturday the earnings took a leap with a total collection of an estimated ₹8.31 crore.
The escalation in the collections on Day 2 needs to be credited to the positive word of mouth publicity earned on its release. The film is witnessing superb growth across Metros. It shows sign of improvement in Multi-plexes of Tier-2 Cities. In fact the film needs to cover lost ground on Day 3 (Republic Day-Sunday)
Collection on Friday touched ₹2.70 Cr, while on Saturday ₹5.61 Cr. Total collections ₹ 8.31 Cr. :
On the other hand, Street Dancer 3D, is cruising ahead with ₹ 23.26 crore at the ticket window.
There is a big lead in the Mumbai Circuit while in other circuits the film gathers pace post noon onwards.
With Day 3 being Republic Day, hopefully there are possibilities for a boost in collection.
Friday collection: ₹10.26 Cr, Saturday, ₹13.21 Cr, Total: ₹23.47 Cr.
The unprecedented success of Tanhaji has affected above movies. The film has even touched the ₹200 Club markhas been growing strong and recently, it enetered the Rs 200-crore-club recently.
