Mumbai Ajay Devgn’s “Tanhaji” smashing box-office records – racing towards 200 cr mark
Ajay Devgn’s “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” is breaking box-office records and is speedily racing towards the 200 crore club. Interestingly, the film has emerged a ‘big favourite of moviegoers’. As of now, it has earned Rs 128.97 crore.
Friday’s ,successful completion of a week of its run has added Rs 10.06 crore to its overall collection and maintaining the rhythm. The collection is a big growth
on the cards. .
In Maharashtra, the film is maintaining a very strong grip and continues its record run.
On Wednesday, after ‘Tanhaji’ scored a century at the box office, Ajay Devgn celebrated the film’s success by thanking his fans and well-wishers through his tweet “Thanks to each and everyone for making this happen! I’m humbled & grateful for all the love, support and affection”he tweeted.
The Om Raut directed ‘Tanhaji’, is based on the heroic saga of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s commander Tanhaji Malusare, played by Ajay. Kajol essays the role of Tanhaji’s wife Savitribai Malusare while Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist Uday Bhan, a Rajput official, who works for Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
