    British Council Summer Workshops brings to Mumbai an array of fascinating activities for young learners this Summer

    May 15 2018, Mumbai: Let your child explore the world and discover the magic of media with British Council’s Summer workshop. Every year British Council conducts various workshops for children to improve their language skills.

    This summer, British Council is presenting theme-based workshops for young learners (8-14 years) that will train them with new life skills, engagement activities all along learning English and becoming globally equipped English language speakers.

    The themes for the summer workshops this year are: Explorers (through a virtual trip around the world, children will travel to one city each day, learn about different cultures, develop language skills and build confidence) and Media Magic (children will explore communication channels such as the radio, television and the internet. They learn how to write blogs, create an advertisement and newspaper report). For over 75 years, the British Council, the world’s English experts have been delivering high-quality English courses and workshops to learners around the world and children will be under the guidance of internationally-qualified teachers during Summer School.

    All this and more, as the young learners develop specific skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and aspects of language (vocabulary and pronunciation) in a fun, secure and learner centric environment. Learners also get an exclusive online library membership as part of the workshop package giving them access to the finest children fiction and literature books the UK has to offer. Existing online library members get a discount on the workshop fee.

    The British Council Summer Workshops 2018 will make summer holidays for these “Young Learners’ all about discovering their inner creativity – through a mix of games, projects, drama, elocution and various communication activities.

    Duration: 10 hours (2 hours each day)
