Be the Change’
Challenges are only opportunities to strengthen the mind, the race and the world at large. R D & SH National College, the premier institution of the illustrious Hyderabad and Sind National Collegiate Board and one of the oldest educational institutes in Mumbai, is transforming the ongoing pandemic challenge into an opportunity to empower the youth with the essential tools for overcoming such situations and providing assistance to civic and administrative bodies during such global crises.
The Hyderabad Sind National Collegiate Board stands testimony to how a deeply distressing historic event like partition must not be allowed to impede learning and development. It has beaconed the establishment of educational institutions par excellent and never compromised either on compassion nor educational excellence since the past 70 years.
Keeping in sync with this glorious 70 years’ legacy of social outreach, under the able and supportive administration of Principal Dr Neha Jagtiani, RD & SH National College is launching a Food Distribution Drive in collaboration with Bhamla Foundation, a Mumbai-based NGO founded by Asif Bhamla that aims to serve the society through social activities across the city of Mumbai.
‘Be the Change’ is a year-long initiative by the students of R.D. National College who strongly believe in Community Service and plan to continue the same.
The food distribution drive is scheduled on 23rd October, 2020 and along with the members of Bhamla Foundation, shall be carried out by the staff and students of the college by arranging for and distributing ration kits to slum dwellers in the areas around the college.
