In her interaction with Radhika Joshi, Hello Mumbai News Correspondent, Bindu Trivedi  asserted of a special ground zero reports of the second wave of covid crisis.

Adding that the covid cases have surged in Mumbai, and that in her Ward No.130, overall the situation of Covid patients is stable and manageable. And that they would be starting the Vaccination Centre to make it more beneficial to people who could get vaccinated at the proposed centre.

No doubt, “the central government is providing vaccine to the Maharashtra Government, but its utilisation is improper and the flow for vaccination is not as expected.

Further elaborating on Covid crisis situation, such as less availability of Oxygen at various centres and hospitals at present, however, we have taken it in our stride and thereby taking inspiration from the leadership of MP Manoj K Kotak, N MLA Parag Shah the following works have been undertaken in a span of 15 days.

A 100-bed Quarantine Center facility has been set up at Param Keshav Baug in Ward 130 with an additional Oxygen facility at the same centre. An additional 40-bed backup facility backup is at the Quarantine Center in case needed, Till date, 89 patients have been cured at the Quarantine Center and 24 patients are under medical care at present.

Further, 47 patients hsve been admitted in BMC & Private Hospitals, while 79 COVID infected patients were administered Remdesivir Injections, 22 Covid infected patients were administered Tocilizumab Injections

Apart from this,the Vaccination Registration process is being carried out and Sanitization Machines are provided in Quarantine Centers and large residential complexes. 80 patients were provided Oxygen Cylinders through Ghatkopar Brahman Samaj & Veer Foundation

Likewise, Sanitizers and Dustbins were distributed in Quarantine Centers as well as in many residential societies.

She also stated, ” people are reeling through a rough situation and with spike in cases, people are unable to get proper facilities of oxygen and beds.”
