BJP Minister Narayan Rane has always been in trouble ever since he embraced politics. He has emerged as a controversial figure.

To top it all, now his 8-storeys High Bungalow Adhish has been embroiled in controversy for the last few years.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation(BMC) has issued a notice to the BJP Minister Narayan Rane’s 8-storey residence Adhish, under Section 351 of the BMC Act,1888, for unauthorised and irregularities in the bungalow.

Ironically, his bungalow has been constructed in violation of Coastal Regulations Zone (CRZ) norms. As per claim of Activists the bungalow was constructed within 50 meters of sea which violates the CRZ rules. Unauthorized constructions has taken place inside the bungalow.

Notably, amid a political fight between Union Minister Narayan Rane and Shiv Sena, BMC, where Shiv Sena has the majority, issued a notice to Rane’s Juhu bungalow for conducting inspection and measurements to check illegal constructions.

Earlier, a notice signed by designated officer of K-West ward (Andheri west) was issued to owner/occupier under section 488 of Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) Act, 1888, informing the visit by a team of K-west ward and Building Proposal department to Rane’s luxurious Adhish Bungalow at Juhu Tara Road to inspect and verify the illegal constructions.
